About Me
Greetings! I’m Dominique Moon. I am a cultivator of sacred sensuality, erotic muse, an Egyptian dance artist, and a ritual artist: a quintessential creative spirit. I explore femaleness from a spiritual perspective in mood, the senses, body agency, and ancestral derivations.

8 years ago, I began studying Egyptian dance. I had never practiced any other dance form but I knew that belly dance was a practice that would emotionally pull me into my body. About a year into my practice, I stumbled upon Baladi. I was captivated by its spontaneity and earthy pelvic-oriented movements. In addition to that, I was moved by the sensual liberation Egyptian dancers possessed. Through improvisation, the Baladi has a slight ecstatic quality and it perfectly conceptualized what I intuitively knew about “being in your body”. I decided to root myself in Baladi and allow it to be a vehicle for cultivating my pleasure.
After all, following bliss is a call and response.

All of my work interacts with female-bodied archetypes to flow past anxiety and discord. These are the qualities of humanity that are outcasted or perceived as "undesirable". My sumptuous movements are informed by the erotic and have been regarded as a healing balm. I'm a mama of 3 who resides in Wilson, NC. I am actively teaching and is on a path to becoming a Sex Educator.
Thank you,
Dominique
